According to latest study by security firm Symantec a Trojan (name of a Virus) effected millions of Android devices. Android is from Google and it should take some action which helps Android users to get rid of this Virus. According to Symantec the Trojan called Android Counterclank and it is in games and applications, at least the following publishers: iApps7, OgreGames and Redmicapps.
The actions taken by the Trojan is primarily send data to a server. Among the data transmitted, it notes the MAC address, IMEI number, IMSI and the serial number of the SIM card. Moreover, the fact that the terminal is infected by this malware makes loading a search icon in the home screen and run a service called apprehend.
This is very serious virus; it will not just slow down your Android device or wipe all your data but functioned to steal all your information and pass it on to its creator.
